General Physics Laboratory is a full semester course for the first-year students of the Colleges of Science, Engineering, etc. This is a one-credit hour course that meets almost once a week for about three hours. This course consists of laboratory topics of introductory Physics level, such as Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Optics, Electromagnetics, Electric Circuits, and Quantum Physics. Students are requested to conduct laboratory exercises and problem-solving in experiments. Each class focuses on a particular experiment described in the lab manual. Comprehensive data acquisition and analyses via an appropriate scientific approach will be emphasized.
